Hotel Barge - The 'Luciole'

Available for whole-boat charter or individual bookings, the 14-passenger 'Luciole' allows our guests to explore in comfort the intimate up-country waterways of central France. From the air-conditioned saloon big picture windows allow uninterrupted views of the passing scene.  Refreshments are freely available at all times from our open bar.

Three double-bedded cabins are available, each of which can be converted into twins, together with three further twin-bedded and two single cabins on board. Each has its own private shower and toilet facilities. Individually-controlled air-conditioning is installed throughout.

The Luciole cruises with a ‘no smoking policy’ within the barge.  Smokers are kindly asked to respect fellow passenger’s wishes out on deck also.

Cruising as a Group Charter

Over the years, groups of friends and family parties have frequently chartered the 'Luciole' for their own exclusive use. Adaptability is the key to the success of these cruises and our flexible crew members are well accustomed to making these changes.

For children with family charter parties, alternative meal times and excursions can be arranged while for special interest groups individual cruise itineraries can be designed. Business gatherings can also be accommodated and our cruising timetable adjusted to suit a specialized schedule.
